Touch

She was lying in bed, only a thin sheet covering her body. Her fingers tightened; she pulled her knees up to her stomach then stretched out again. Her hair spread out on the pillow, the touch of the silky blanket tickled her breasts. The room was shimmered by the street lamp’s subdued light; outside, the mist came down and peered through the open window. The air was cool but still, Kate’s body was burning hot. She felt it ignite when the shadow rose above her and she felt his breath on her skin. He was tall and strong. With a single motion, he pulled off the blanket. The silk slid off of her, down onto the floor, tickling and nothing protected her anymore. The dim figure leaned over her, ran his fingers down her chest, down her belly, along her inner thighs and inside, she was boiling with even more desire. The soft lips clung to her lips, his fingers intertwined with hers and their bodies entwined. Quiet panting, fast-paced breath, with the wind coming through the window. Soft kisses and tight hugs, and then they emerged from each other’s arms.
Kate looked into the glowing eyes that mesmerized her every night like a hypnotist and she had no freewill anymore. But even if she had, she would not do anything else. They are one; neither of them can exist without the other. They need each other like they need air and water. The eyes captivated hers and commenced sending her into a dream. Her body relaxed, her eyes were open only a crack and her head tilted slightly to one side. She was defensless. The shadow rose, then carefully covered the girl’s slumberlike body. Kate wanted to say something but no sound came from her throat. The shadow stopped in front of the window, opened its wings and flew away like a vision. The girl’s eyes closed.
There she was lying in bed, only a thin sheet covered her naked body. Outside the fog has lifted, the morning sun drifted into the room and pleasantly warmed the girl’s naked body. Kate stretched along the bed; a faint smile ran across her face.
It was just another dream”, she muttered aloud as she rose from the bed. The mild summer breeze flipped through the window, danced across the room and gently animating the white feathers and carrying them out again...
